Biography

Stephanie is an Associate Attorney at Newport Family Law & Mediation Group.Stephanie received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Public Relations and Speech Communications with a minor in English in 1998 at Otterbein College, Ohio, where she graduated with Departmental Honors and Distinction. She was also a Scripps Howard scholar at Georgetown University in their Fund for American Studies Political Journalism Program in 1997.  Stephanie later received a Juris Doctorate degree from Santa Barbara College of Law in 2004 where she was the President of the Student Bar Association.

Stephanie has over 24 years of experience working in a legal setting and 17 as an attorney. Prior to joining Newport Family Law & Mediation Group, she practiced Family Law in the Counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Santa Barbara and Ventura where she gained significant experience litigating cases in all areas of Family Law. Stephanie has experience in such areas as domestic violence, divorce, paternity, custody, child and spousal support, adoptions, name changes, living trusts and wills, complex civil litigation and business law.

At Newport Family Law & Mediation Group, Stephanie will use her vast skills and experience in Law and Motion and Discovery. She is a court-appointed counsel for minors.
