Kristin HamiltonSenior Paralegal and Mediator
Both a Paralegal and a Mediator, Kristin's educational background includes a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, a Masters in Criminal Justice from Chapman University and accredited certificates in both Paralegal Studies and Mediation. Her role at NFL&MG is to improve communications between divorcing couples, attorneys, and other divorce professionals to minimize conflict, and to dramatically reduce the financial and emotional costs typically associated with divorce. We strongly believe in the team approach to divorce that includes using professionals and counselors to help resolve the economic and emotional issues that inevitably arise when relationships are ending, and families are psychologically and financially affected.
Kristin's approach is backed by 28 years of varied training and experience in youth counseling, family dynamics, Clinical Psychology, conflict resolution, law enforcement, community/public relations for the Newport Beach Police Department, high conflict litigation, mediation, and 14 years as a Chapman University Adjunct Professor of Psychology and Criminal Justice. In addition to participating in all aspects of divorce litigation for the past 12 years, she specializes in mediation and conflict resolution covering a broad spectrum of issues.
